Best Timer App Reviews

The sound on this app doesnt appear to work anymore on my iPad when using this app. I still have sound on all my other apps... Ive gone thru my settings to insure they are right but it still doesnt sound when the timer is up & should be notifying me... Its irritating, I thought this was the best timer app until the sound stopped working on my pad. It still works on my iPhone, so I am at a loss as to what happened.

I liked this app, but then the alarm sound stopped working and I couldn’t figure out why. Well here’s the answer… Make sure that the “silence” switch is not engaged. If it is, you’ll only hear sound through a headset. This is different from the behavior of both the native alarms and other alarm apps. (I’m not sure about the audio behavior when “Do not disturb” mode is on. So that might be a factor as well.)

So far does everything its supposed to and I have no expectations that that will stop. App features several different colors, many different timer settings as you would expect with a timer, about a dozen or so sounds when time expires. Plus it has a nice UI and sight counts for something. Will run in the background and play sounds when time is up while you do whatever. Very reasonably priced too.

Was frustrated by this app and lack of sound. Finally figured out u need to turn on notifications for this app. Problem solved!

Well, I loaded onto my iPad and iPhone…looks nice but no alarm sound. When selecting a sound you can hear it…but I run the timer down and nothing. One reviewer said to be sure to uncheck “silent” but I can’t find that anywhere. Does not work for me.

Visually the timer app looks great. It also has all the different ways of using timer in one app. I like very much. Room for improvement: - some of the timer (eg: Kitchen and Countdown) could use more touch gesture to select time instead of popping up a selector dialog. The timer is presented in a circle and its more natural to spin your finger around to set the time. - there should be a way to send the dev feedback from the app. I would have done that instead of writing a review. - besides all these great timer sounds, can you also give the option to have the phone vibrate? I am using the timer in very noisy situation and having it vibrate will allow me to focus on my activity instead of staring at the phone because I cant hear the chime at the end.

I love the wonderful design of this app and the versatile options it offers, and I was really looking forward to using it. However, Ive tried everything & I still cant get the sound to work on this app using my iPad. (And yes, Ive followed the instructions to turn on notifications, lock screen, & the sound in notifications -- still nothing.) A timer is useless without sound. Hopefully, the developer will fix this problem soon or else I will have no choice but to delete it, even though I would have loved to have utilized this app in my daily life.

No sound even with the ringer on. Long time with no fix.

Update on 12/10 notes sound issue has been fixed, but its still not working.

I turn the timer on and was doing something else on my phone and the timer run down the time to zero and got no alarm. Help Joe
