Do we have to pay extra to make the timer ring. Seriously, Is it really a timer if its soundless ???? If we have to watch the time going, whats the point ? Nice design by the way even if it is useless

If this apps timer and stopwatch functions somehow had an integrated to-do-list it would be one of the most beautiful and useful apps ever invented. Still, it delivers what it promises with a lot of style.
This is a very nice designed timer/stopwatch with many different alert sounds. But there is one annoying thing: The alert-volume cant be set separately for the timer-app and changes when the system-volume is changed (e.g. in the music-player). So to make sure you dont overhear the timer-alert, you always have to check the volume before starting a timer. With an option to permanently set the alert-volume it would definitely be a 5 star-app!
but room for improvement at control. A simple reset without confirmation of time settings would be appreciated.
First of all: Its a very nice and useful timer (also seconds are adjustable! and also 99h59min59sec ;-)) Great! BUT THERE IS ONE BIG BUG: In the stopwatch: When you press the lap-button, the second-counter for the next lap wont be reseted to zero. It only turns to zero when 1 sec is over. So it shows a 1 second minor, WRONG time!!! The list of lap-times is correct. Please UPDATE soon!!!!
If you use e.g. a 5 second timer the alarm sound starts at the 1 second mark. Dont know if the display or the sound is off by one second.
Its a really nice sleek design that compliments its functionality. The app works really well and doesnt crash even after bench testing. You can put you device on stand by and the counter still alarms you once its done. Its a great little app to have around.
Superb and beeuutiifullll Timer. I love it. I would have given 6 out of 5 stars however some things reduce the score: I dont see a reset button on the egg timer, dont need it but would be nice to have and I am sure the next update will fix this. Also I want to be able to set my iPod music for non-background notifications. Um, also should function as an alarm clock, it has the looks now just needs the functionality. Also would like to see ability to tweak the color settings, blue gets boring after a while. A great start gives it 80/100 from me, but it clearly has the potential to be easily perfect
one of the coolest app that cost 0.99$ I have spent. the look of the icon of the app is nice, the alarms sounds are nice, everything about this app is just... i like it. Will there be a selections ( ex: like changing wallpapers ) of the look for this app on the next or next Update, Smartphoneware ?
Gorgeous display. Great functionality and design. Easy to use and enjoyable to watch.
I love this Timer. Its really the BEST I seen so far. I understand that it is the first version and there will be improvements. Here is an idea: the kitchen timer could open on a list were could be store many meal names with corresponding time Thanks again for the great apps!
I would just like to see a reset button for all of the clocks
Nice, but needs a numeric keypad, like on a microwave oven, for setting time. Using spinners to do so is cumbersome.
Alarm sounds dont work.
Ive been looking for a good timer that also includes the seconds part of it. Great visuals and all the sounds work wonderfully. Seamless loading.
Update guys, update. This app doesnt offer much that 100 other ones do.
If you need to have a timer in plain site that youll be checking frequently than this app can work for you. In that sense its nice to look at. Otherwise I dont see the purpose. I like it for the eye candy but dont remember to use it often. Visually I like the hour glass timer best. Too bad it tops out at 12mins & 59secs... If this could be increased than I would up the score.
A beautifully designed and creative timer. The designer alarms (as in NOT Apple standard tones) are quite good. However, the Hour Glass, in this case called a Sand Timer, is unfortunately limited to 12min :29sec, obviously due to the limitation in the stylized but fully functional digital pixel/dots/grains of sand. Im sure there can be scenarios for, but I cant think of any right now that would just need just 13minutes; so making a design change to enable an hour (read a book for an hour, do a chore for an hour ... Etc) would be an ideal next change. Also, the ability to change the color theme would be very nice.
I bought this timer for teaching my yoga classes. The countdown timer is great because it gives me visual cues when I need to start wrapping up the different elements. But also lets me know that I still have 20 minutes left too! Now it would be great if you could make a fifth timer that is an interval one. Nothing complicated. It would be great to have a timer to exercise to. (ex. 5 min run 1 min rest. OR 2 minute reps. Etc). Im sure I could find other uses for an interval type timer but I cant seem to find a simple one out there. And why should i buy five different timers for my life? Thank you!!
It does exactly what its suppose to do. I love the different types of timekeepers and now its even better with the recent upgrade. I have just 2 requests: the alarm signal needs to override the mute switch and we need more colours!
